Over the weekend I added another feature to the ‘ol blog here:  the Screening Room.  The 313 Tech Screening Room is a video sketchbook of random clips that I have done in order to practice skills in After Effects. Much like the design sketchbook, some entries will look good, some won’t; it’s all about practice and getting better at my craft. Note that entries are done to practice program knowledge, not design principles.Check it out here.

I love t-shirts, especially when they’re cheap.  Woot! the site famous for “One Day, One Deal” has a shirt site.  I especially love today’s, “The Creative Thought Process.”

I found this out by accident.  I like to use Command + W to close application windows, but still keep the application running in the background.  However, if you have multiple tabs open in Firefox and use the shortcut, it will close the current tab.  It beats clicking the x with the mouse.  Sweet!

It’s been a great day.  Let’s review in list form:

• It started with me sleeping in, something that doesn’t happen very often. 
• Tried out Daft Punk’s new single.  Buy it, thank me later.
• After lunch, Anna and I tossed the frisbee around on the front lawn. 
• I just took care of a few housekeeping issues (as I like to call them) around the dorm.
• Added a countdown widget to my blog…just because i can.
• Currently watching the Georgia v. Auburn game.

I’ll probably swing by Old McCants to film some Ultimate Frisbee for my next TV Production package.  Games start at 6pm.
