Good morning to all!

I know its been a while since my last post, but I’ve been spending most of my free time working on the new site. I can’t quite figure out how to import my posts from the new blogger to wordpress. If all else fails I’ll just put up an ‘old blog’ link.

I haven’t really had the chance to talk about the new site. Yes yes, I know the suspense is driving you crazy (OK, maybe not you, just me), but if you want a sneak peek head on over to 313tech.com -I’ll explain the meaning of 313 when I launch :)
Due to my recent meanderings in After Effects, I’ve been searching for ways to feed my creativity. My newest discovery: Motionographer. So, for your viewing pleasure check out:

  1. this music video from Stylewar. I don’t know if I like the song, but the concept is cool.
  2. Duler’s new reel

I’m headed home to run sound for Beyond. Everyone have a great weekend!

Beyond Launch 006

Today marked the beginning of Beyond, a modern style worship service held at my home church in Lancaster, SC. In my opinion, it was a huge success. There were about 150 people in attendance, nearly maxing out our seating. It’s truly amazing to see God at work and, more importantly, for allowing me to be a part of it. I pray that we can keep our focus on Him and lead others into a relationship with Christ.

For all the soccer fans out there (anyone?), hope you’re as excited about this as I am.

Ketch-up

Apologies for the sudden outpouring of entries, I’m just trying to recap the events since my last update…. would have been a month or more.

I arrived on campus late Sunday night and had a few days to unwind, purchase books, etc. before classes cranked up. The new library opened today and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. I hope to post a picture or two tomorrow.

I found out today in my Multimedia Production class that we will be designing our own blog under a personal domain name. Sounds really cool, and I’ll get some experience with Dreamweaver (recently purchased by Adobe I might add). Naturally, I can’t write two blogs (I barely keep up with one) so I’ll probably be migrating to the new site soon.
